Teshima Art Museum / Ryue Nishizawa The Teshima Art Museum designed by Tokyo-based architect Ryue Nishizawa and Japanese artist Rei Naito opened in 2010 for the Setouchi International Art Festival that was held in the Takamatsu Port area of Japan. Museum of Liverpool / 3XN The new Museum of Liverpool, opening on July 19th will not only tell the story of its importance as one of the World’s great ports or about its cultural influence, such as with the Beatles phenomenon. It will also serve as a meeting point for History, the People of Liverpool and visitors from around the globe. Nestlé’s Chocolate Museum / Metro Arquitetos Associados The intention in designing the structures of the public visiting of the Nestlé chocolate factory is to make a generic landscape of the highway that link Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, the biggest Brazilian cities, revealing the presence of an area of visitation. This visibility is done by building towers to access the new route, in glass and steel, which in addition to the strong brand exhibition resolve the conflicting currents between production and visitation (read more…)
Facade Planning for the Hangzhou Congress Center / Peter Ruge Architekten The new building ensemble is situated close to huge Qiantang River not far from the city center. It will be the focus building of the new large business and administration district of the city. The new fascinating complex consists of six office high-rise buildings arranged in a circle and connect in the upper floors through a circular bridge building.
