Como Loft / JMA When an old monastery located around the city of Como, Italy, was being remodelled and converted into a residential complex, two adjacent units have been connected to form this duplex apartment. The shape of the original units is clearly enhanced by the different pitched ceiling direction as well as by their different heights. GKK Dental Ambulatory / x Architekten The relocation of various businesses from the Voestalpine steel manufacturer’s premises included the dental clinic of the Upper Austrian regional medical insurance company. The nearby “Service Zone” was chosen as the new location. The task was to create a modern and service-oriented clinic on a 525 sqm plot which offers the dentists the best possible hygiene and functionality at work and which receives and guides the patients (read more…)
Zulte Stone Company / BURO Interior The Stone Company, a natural stone company in Zulte, underwent a true metamorphosis. The renovated display hall cum meeting and office space was decorated austerely and elegantly with the natural stone product as a calling card used in all its facets. NADiff a.p.a.r.t / Schemata Architecture Office This project is interior design of new space for NADiff, Art shop/gallery for contemporary art in Ebisu. They moved their main shop to this location from Aoyama. All books, operating system, and furniture from Aoyama shop were brought in to the new space. We made furniture in the same design but in different color. Then we divided the space in two zones, by placing the old furniture and the new one on each zone (read more…)
The “Front and back” Apartment / h2o architectes It was a singular brief from a young Parisian advertising executive also avid collector of comic strips. He wished to live in a fresh environment, both serene and sparkling despite the fact that his existing space was dilapidated, its geometry confusing, compartmentalized and contorted (read more…)
