IRIS CERAMICA GROUP OFFICIALLY OPENS THE NEW ICG GALLERY DUBAI WITH A MULTISENSORY EXPERIENCE
On the occasion of Dubai Design Week, Iris Ceramica Group officially opens the doors of the new ICG Gallery Dubai with “Designing the Invisible”, an experiential project that explores the most intangible dimensions of design through materials, sound, scent and perception, using neuroscience to investigate how the senses contribute to our perception of space.
From 3 to 7 November, on the occasion of Dubai Design Week 2026, Iris Ceramica Group officially inaugurates the new ICG Gallery Dubai (Building 6 - Suite B101, Dubai Design District) with Designing the Invisible, a concept exploring the sensory dimension of design and its role in shaping our experience of space.
Open to the design and architecture community, the programme features an interactive sensory experience and an Open Talk on Neuroarchitecture with Evgeniia Molchanova, Founder e Design Director di E+A Studio and Adriana Graur, Creative Director di DWP and Founder of Adiarchetype, offering an opportunity to enter the world of the senses and explore its dynamics through neuroarchitecture, tactile ceramic surfaces, scent and sound.
An invitation to move beyond a purely visual approach to design and embrace a more comprehensive perspective. Materials, textures, sound and scent become elements of a single perceptual landscape, capable of transforming the way a space is experienced, interpreted and remembered. Designing the invisible means designing what cannot be seen, acknowledging the role of all those elements that help shape our perception of a space: the sensation of a surface to the touch, the way sound travels through an environment, a colour that evokes emotion, a fragrance capable of bringing back a memory or suggesting an atmosphere.
