Utopian Hours 2024: Europe's Leading Festival on City-Making and Innovation
The eighth edition of Utopian Hours, Europe's premier festival dedicated to city-making and urban innovation, will take place from October 18-20 at Centrale Lavazza in Turin.
Over the course of three unmissable days, key figures from urban development will gather to explore visions and solutions for the future of our cities. Topics include real estate innovation, social impact, public space revitalization, mobility, green transitions, and cutting-edge urban technologies.
Created and organized by Stratosferica, the festival showcases bold ideas, transformative projects, and visionary experiences that are redefining the concept of city-making. Far from an escape from reality, the festival uses the term "utopia" to inspire new possibilities for creating better places through awareness, imagination, and collective action.
The Utopian Hours stage will feature key players from global urban innovation, including Yes We Camp, Telliskivi Creative City, and IF_DO, alongside renowned urban designers like Matt Grunbaum from Field Operations, Dirk Van Peijpe from De Urbanisten, Helle Søholt from Gehl, and Kotchakorn Voraakhom from the Porous City Network. Influential activist-thinkers will also address today's most pressing issues, including urban AI, sustainability, and the social impact of regeneration.
Utopian Hours is a must-attend event for anyone passionate about the future of cities. Tickets—ranging from one-day to three-day passes, with options for professionals, students, and online streaming—are available for purchase on the Utopian Hours website.
