Who we are:

Lux Populi is a global first-principles design practice, collaborating with clients and designers from around the world to develop custom crafted designs for each client and their individual project needs. Informed by architecture, identity, context and function. Lux Populi is based in Mexico City and the United Kingdom, with projects in over twenty countries. Our outlook is inherently international and we consider the learning of contexts (social, cultural, built and physical) and the adoption of local practices, codes and techniques to be a core part of our craft. Although founded in first principles creative design, Lux Populi prides itself on deliverable, fully documented designs. The rigor of Lux Populi’s design and documentation is unparalleled. It is based on discipline in our craft, and is influenced by the work we do at great distances - a quality of communication of design and of documentation that permits a construction team to deliver projects based solely on the documents provided. Most projects are designed with constraints – design must address the purpose of the client, their budget, delivery schedule and the resources available to them at the site. Retail rollouts must address universality of location, whereas an art installation in the jungles of the Yucatan peninsula must be robust and maintainable by local tradespeople. Over the course of nearly two decades, Lux Populi has developed a proven track record of delivered success.
