Who we are:
LAVA Structural Engineering, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "LAVA") is a structural consulting firm registered in the United States Northern Mariana Islands in 2017 by three outstanding structural engineers, DIHONG SHAO, Zhang Jinbin and Roger Cheang which is an American structural engineering design company managed and practiced by the Institute of American Engineers. LAVA was born with the United States' thriving tourism industry on the Northern Mariana Islands. It is well known that these islands are close to the world's largest ocean-the Pacific Ocean and the deepest Mariana Trench on the earth's surface where is the strongest earthquake zone in the western Pacific Ocean. In addition, it is 4,000 kilometers away from the nearest continent which means there is an extreme shortage of infrastructure materials, and some engineering sites do not even have a stable supply of fresh water. These harsh natural conditions pose great challenges to the building structure, but the young LAVA stands out from these challenges, not only completing the design and construction of a series of complex projects, but also awarded the "Best Structural Engineering Design Company in the Northern Mariana Islands" award by the state government in the second year of its establishment among the 27 structural engineering design companies. 上海庐唯建筑结构设计有限公司。
