Fischbacher 1819 is a family-owned textile company operating since the 13th century. Valery 2851 and custom-made "Newtopia" wallpaper by Fischbacher 1819 were used for curtains and walls in the Seegerhaus, located in St. Gallen, Switzerland.
The Seegerhaus in St. Gallen harmonizes modern design with a historic building. The renovation of the space required that close attention to detail was paid to balance the introduction of contemporary elements with the preservation of existing architecture, in order to maintain the building's original character.
Fischbacher 1819's 100% PES FR velvet Valery 2851 curtains are over 9 meters tall and are an impressive, elegant feature in Seegerhaus that ties modern and classical design together. Beyond their aesthetic appeal, the curtains contribute to clean acoustics in the room. Custom Newtopia wallpaper was used on the walls of the restaurant in an impressive 3.5 x 9 meters. The botanical print of the wallpaper provides depth and brings a whimsical element to the space.
