Recycled, sustainable, high-quality
Fischbacher 1819 is a family-owned textile company operating since the 13th century. Benu Remix Recycled, Ablion and Visconte textiles by Fischbacher 1819 were used for curtains and upholstery in Drei Berge Hotel, located in Murren, Switzerland.
The Drei Berge Hotel—named after the trio of mountains it overlooks: Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau—breathes new life into the Bellevue Hotel, established in 1907. The renovations began in 2023 with the clear goal of respecting the existing materials and furniture while giving a nod to contemporary aesthetics. The process involved harmonizing interior and exterior woodwork, adding emblazoned carpets, quality linens, custom-made cosmetics and unique vintage decorations.
Benu Remix Recycled
The Benu® recycled collection transforms recycled fabrics and PET bottles into remarkable textiles. Benu Remix Recycled adds to this by using fashion industry leftovers in a sustainable process. Sorted by color to avoid dyeing, only top-quality fibers are spun into new yarns, reducing wastewater, dyes, and energy use while protecting the environment.
Ablion
The floor-to-ceiling blackout Ablion features a delicate, glossy sheen with a subtle finish, making it ideal for use as a lining.
Visconte
Visconte is a 140cm-wide soft cotton velvet for curtains and upholstery, offered in 60 colors. Made with BCI-certified cotton, it supports sustainable farming and environmental protection.
