Ceramic Lattice Ceiling - 360 Food Hall | Flexbrick

The Three-Sixty Food Hall in Kuwait is a modern-day arena that redefines the experience of food and spaces by focusing on the customer experience by elevating quality, service, and convenience. Designed by the firm Lines, the intention was to create an experience similar to an Al Fresco marketplace within the mall while maintaining a modern and chic aesthetic. Ceramic fabric from Flexbrick was installed on the ceiling as part of the design solution.

Using the lattice structure designed in a checkerboard pattern of ceramics in the ceiling created an interior texture with lighting behind it that tricks the mind into experiencing natural light even in its absence. To continue the theme of bringing the exterior into the mall interior, the center includes a lush green seating area.
