The Ned Ludd is a popular bar and restaurant located in the heart of Nottingham. Notable for a famous selection of gins, craft beers, and locally sourced British food, Ned Ludd is a classic and inviting spot. In 2021, the building underwent a renovation to update its interior and exterior finishes, to create a more modernized look fitting with high-quality service standards. In designing, the owners selected the 3M™ DI-NOC ™ Architectural Finishes to effectively update various portions of the restaurant.
Design Concept
To honor the family-owned yet contemporary business, one of the design goals was to create an industrial-chic look. The restaurant also required high-quality durable surfaces that are easy to clean and create an inviting look. With the 3M™ DI-NOC ™ Architectural Finishes applied throughout various areas, the result is a resilient and stylish finish that was installed almost overnight and for a fraction of the cost or environmental impact of replacement.
