«Noise-Virus-Catcher» is a Swiss invention for safety in open-plan offices. Bruag combines acoustics, aesthetics and hygiene into a mobile room divider. The «Noise-Virus-Catcher» continually cleans the air in open-plan offices and filters out viruses, germs and pollen; the partition wall also improves room acoustics whilst it does this.

The design aims to create open-plan offices as safe as homes for workers providing the benefits of teamwork and ideal work environments for both employers and employees. Using the multifunctional room divider «Noise-Virus-Catcher» by Bruag, a healthy indoor climate, comfortable noise levels and a beautiful ambiance can be achieved for optimum workplace conditions.

Acoustics, Design and Hygiene

The «Noise-Virus-Catcher» combines acoustics, design and hygiene into a 140-mm-thick, flexible room divider. The free-standing and mobile partition wall has two metal feet and perforated wooden elements on both sides. Two clinical filters can be easily accessed in the partition walls although they are hardly visible from the outside. The filters remove all kinds of viruses and improve the environment for pollen allergy sufferers.

A blind built-in fan circulates the air drawn in from both sides and lets it back into the room without contaminants. The perforated room divider is additionally insulated for sound absorption and is made from natural wood with a white coating. Custom sizes and colors can be specified if required.
