The terrazzo floor in Chicago Magic Lounge was installed during a renovation of the 90-year-old building. It is beautifully integrated with the architecture, featuring a 3D stacked block pattern with classic colors and brass divider strips to add a striking element to the 1920s speakeasy vibe in this lounge dedicated to magicians.
The craftsmen executed the concept from a general layout and successfully achieved the desired look within a small area. An unusual feature of the installation is a copper wire induction loop system that connects to hearing aids, embedded under the membrane in the floor. The aggregate used in the project was provided by Terrazzo & Marble-Supply Companies
