The story so far…
Freifrau was founded in 2011. Since its first presentation at the imm Cologne 2012, the brand has been setting international standards in the furniture industry. At that time nobody would have given a new brand the chance on the market. Seating furniture manufactures were like sand by the sea. Their ambition was and still is to create favorite places. Beautifully unique created furniture characterized by aesthetics and timeless elegance. Together with a team of renowned designers and young talents, the furniture is designed with an emphasis on longevity and sustainability. The manufacturing relies on traditional craftsmanship ''Made in Germany. Freifrau is now distributed world-wide through exclusively selected high-end furniture stores and is one of the 50 leading german producers of high-class/ luxury furniture as recently documented in the book „Best of German Interior Design“.
