In conjunction with the 2019 IAPS Symposium, "Aging in Place in a World of Inequalities: How to Design Healthy Cities for All"—held from November 27 to 30, 2019, in Pelotas, Brazil—the thirteenth edition of PIXO (a journal of architecture, city, and contemporaneity) is now accepting submissions under the theme AGING IN PLACE. Grandjean de Montigny Grand Prize - 5th Edition

The call for entries for the 2020 CAU/RJ Grandjean de Montigny Grand Prize is now available! This year's winner will be awarded a study trip to a Latin American country, in addition to R$ 7,000 for expenses. The authors of the projects placed 2nd and 3rd will receive R$ 5,000 and R$ 3,000, respectively, for study trips. The results will be announced at the Architect and Urban Planner Day celebration on December 15. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will be held online and streamed live on the CAU/RJ YouTube channel. Further details regarding the program will be released soon.

International ideas competition "Backnang West Neighbourhood 2050"

The 2027 International Building Exhibition celebrates the centennial of the Weißenhof Estate in Stuttgart. The Latin American Architecture Biennials Network (REDBAAL), in coordination with the 27th UIA World Congress of Architects (UIA2020RIO), had planned to hold the exhibition and awards ceremony for the Third Edition of the "Oscar Niemeyer" Award for Latin American Architecture (ON-03 Award) this July in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
