If the design were a rigid concept, then Nelson would never have come to fruition, because normally tables shouldn't have open spaces. What makes Nelson unique is what makes all design unique: the freedom to experiment . In this case, all the elements of the structure are held together by a metal structure while the tops, in wood and leather, combine to create dramatic and irregular geometric shapes. Vegetable-tanned Leonardo leather, a traditional Tuscan material, is used for some parts of the tops, thus creating a play of colours.

The Dependant suspension system was designed by the Danish design studio Kilo Design. The task was to create a suspension system that could be used by consumers and architects alike to mount multiple pendants to form a large pendant installation that leaves a strong impact through simple repetition. Kilo Design worked on the details, geometry and finishes of the design, which allowed the system to be used with many different pendant types ranging from classic pendants and glass shades to modern expressions. The modular design approach means that the pendants can be arranged in both commercial and residential spaces according to need and space requirements. The suspension system includes four different variants enabling flexible positioning, which can be used on their own or in larger installations. The suspension system is available in a brass metallised, white and black finish to match the suspended pendants.

Elegance. Simplicity. Maximum comfort. A chair that has these characteristics: universal value, pure and absolute. Swiveling, extremely comfortable , thanks to the "smart" cushion used for the adaptable backrest. Also available together with a footrest that allows you to stretch your legs for the ultimate relaxation. Structure in tubular steel and extrusions. The pedestal enabling the swivel system is a cruise of steel extrusions and sections, brushed and finished in glossy chrome-plated nickel. The smart cushion is a brand - new concept of relax, it represents years of reflections, studies and technological research. The secret is inside, hidden to view but of immediate use. Joints in special materials allow you to shape it as you prefer: it can be pulled up or down, it can take the position that is most suitable to the purpose at that time, simply and effortlessly, thanks to a slight hand pressure. Whether as a backrest or as an armrest, through these hidden mechanisms that are true masterpieces of engineering, the smart cushion offers outstanding comfort and suits your idea of comfort. Tested simulating a continuous use of years , it is perfectly wear-proof: functionality and technology are combined to achieve the best comfort. Edra has always been committed to technological research, and in 2004 patented Gellyfoam®, a next generation material that represents the most advanced reference point in terms of comfort. Gellyfoam® is a special foam that combines softness with support; it is unlike a spring that pushes back, but a material that will always welcome you in the best way. It offers superior comfort and relax. Gellyfoam® is an exclusive technology by Edra. We have put man, the highest wishes we all have about comfort and relax, at the centre, and every day we work towards that goal. Edra comfort is an extraordinary dimension of life, which can be presented in many different ways, but always at the highest level. Craftmanship is an essential working method to provide edra’s quality, the oldest and newest one, and it is through craftsmanship that knowledge is handed down: work is done according to a high-tech project, while thinking back to the good manual skills that have always existed here in Tuscany. The hands are the only way to provide the most excellent quality. The hands can sense, adapt, build, convey and achieve goals that machines simply cannot. An essential balance between technology and beauty, between reason and instant wonder. This is one of our values: passion, which creates the greatest quality. The one that belongs to our land, Tuscany, the heart of Italy, the one that gave the world the masterpieces of Renaissance At edra, fabrics and upholsteries are an integral part of any project, in engineering and aesthetic terms, not just trendy or colourful covers. Every product in the Collection is preceded by extensive research into the ideal covering to complement their tactile and technological features: edra devises and designs the materials that can be helpful for any project, and then it produces them on an exclusive basis so they will be perfect for its collections
