TURNABLE CORNER Optimise space and open up the view. The Turnable Corner system has been developed to optimise space by using a roller principle which completely frees up the glazed components from the passageway. This major architectural solution frees up surface and corner space. The glass panels can be dimensioned up to a surface area of 6 m² and a weight of 250 kg, each able to slide independently. Their unique feature is that they turn at the corners so that they can be stored within a dedicated area, allowing breathtaking views to be revealed.

This bench was originally designed in 1946 for Fritz Hansen by Hans J. Wegner. However, it did not go into production before 1991 at PP Møbler. Like the Chinese Chairs PP 56 and PP 66, the bench is a challenge for the craftsman due to the long, bearing wooden element. Therefore, it was only because of the new pre-compression technique that it became possible to make a version suitable for production. The bench is completely identical to Wegner's famous Chinese Chairs; it is merely an extension of the chair format. The bench is available in soaptreated, lacquered or black lacquered ash wood.
