Modular sofa with backrest and armrests structure in multilayer poplar wood and double-panelled fir-wood, padded in differentiated density polyurethane foam, and covering in needle punched, resinated, non-woven polyester fiber, bonded onto a polyamide velveeten backing. Steel seat chassis, with epoxy powder coating, sprung with coated rubber elastic straps, padded in polyurethane foam. Backrest and armrest cushion in prewashed and sterilized goose down, stitched into separate compartments, with polyurethane foam insert. Seat cushion in differentiated density polyurethane foam and Visco-soft insert, covered with acrylic fibre layers. Foot made of laser-cut steel sheet with epoxy powder coating gunmetal grey color. Floor support secured by black PVC feet. Fabric or leather upholstery, both fully removable by zippers and Velcro fastenings. Seat depth: 68 – 134 cm

Windsor fits in with all kinds of furnishings: perfect in a traditional setting, in a modern setting it stands out like a valuable work of art. Made exclusively by hand with capitonne upholstery, the sofa has a decidedly distinctive feel. It is refined and sophisticated, yet also soft and welcoming, due to the distinctive button buried in the diamond quilting of the padding. Windsor has extended its range with an additional, extra-large sofa of 314 cm. Besides, there is a new version in velvet which gives the sofa a silky and sumptuous look.

These upholstered items were created during the alterations to Koller’s house in Oberwaltersdorf carried out between 1912–1914. Wittmann has created sofas to match this design. Haus Koller Sofa: W 158/200 x D 82 x H 92 (seat height 41 cm)
