Gather round the T-Table coffee table for a taste of ‘la dolce vita’. The table top, available in a round, oval or square version, comes in three luxurious finishes: firstly, three shades of hand-glazed, 400-year old lava stone from Vesuvius, which mirrors the sky and is reminiscent of rippling water. Italian designer Piergiorgio Cazzaniga does with CTR what he is good at: making complex designs appear effortless. The collection is characterised by a tube in powdercoated stainless steel that follows the outline of the chair in one continuous line. The curves of the tube are bent in a corner of 90° and keep a round form which requires great mastery. With a lightness of touch, the open weave of the backrest appears to float unsuspended around the seat. The weave is made of weather-resistant Tricord and gives extra support to the back. The seat is upholstered with a water-repellent cushion which can be easily removed.
