Designed by Roberto Lazzeroni in 2011 together with the Fred desk, the Ginger armchair has been a success since its debut and remains the most popular of all of the many chairs and armchairs in the Poltrona Frau catalogue. Its clean-cut and unfussy profile, sophisticated in its simplicity, evokes a welcoming and protective leather shell. The seat is extremely comfortable, the forms are both sinuous and highly graphical, guaranteeing harmonious continuity between the shell and the base. Designed as both the natural complement to the Fred desk and as a free-standing seat, the swivel version of Ginger is perfect for the study, while the fixed version is reliable favourite for the dining room. The structure of the Ginger armchair is made from moulded thermoplastic composite polymer. The seat is padded with polyurethane foam. The upholstery is available in: - Cuoio Saddle Extra leather for the external surface and Pelle Frau® leather for the internal surface. - entirely upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather - entirely upholstered in Kvadrat by Poltrona Frau fabric. The base of the Ginger armchair is made from solid ash with hook support in black painted steel. It is available in the Fixed or Swivel versions with “return” mechanism which enables the armchair to rotate 360° and return to its starting position. The base is finished in moka or wenge-stained ash. On request, it is possible to have special stains or RAL lacquer finishes based on a sample.

Our LUZ chair brings the charm of a 1960s hotel lounge into your living room. Its sweeping, rounded seat shell and backrest are now also available entirely in wood, harvested naturally from sustainable forests, as well as in its earlier version with luxurious upholstery in an environmentally friendly mixture of new wool and a cold foam made from castor oil. LUZ chair with wooden seat (oak/walnut), padded backrest and a cushion with eco friendly upholstery (cold foam with castor oil and new wool). The cushions and/or the cover are not removable. The Montera series designed by Roberto Lazzeroni has a formal lightness that expresses the sensory charm of its materials: the raw cut processing exalts the tactility of the saddle-leather and leather which, combined together, complement each other perfectly; the light stitching on the backrest forms a smile. Montera is a chair, an armchair, a stool of two different heights, a column stool and a stackable chair. The same materials and finishes are used in every item of the collection. First and foremost the original upholstery of the shell, which combines Pelle Frau® leather on the inside with Cuoio Saddle Extra leather on the outside, with contrast stitching around the edges. A version entirely upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather is also available. In this case the stitching has tone-on-tone thread. For all elements in the Montera series the shell is produced from moulded steam-curved and - pressed beech plywood. Polyurethane foam padding. The legs of the Montera chair, armchair and h 66 and h 74 stools are in solid ash wood with a wenge or moka stain, with black nylon spacers. The Montera stackable chair has a 4-legged steel base in the evocative blasted and burnished finish which gives new warmth to the metal. This is also upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather and a two-tone version is also available on request. The Montera stool, with column base in chrome steel, is made up of a four-bracket cross plate, a column, a footrest and a round plate. The cross plate fixes the shell to the base. The tubular footrest is knurled with a diamond motif. The upper part of the column, above the footrest, is upholstered with saddle-leather or leather to match the upholstery of the shell. Felt pads protect the floor.
