Aedas has begun construction on their winning entry to design the new Sina Headquarters in China. Located south of the Beijing Zhongguancun Software Park, the building program will include open office area, conference rooms, media rooms, library, entertainment rooms, a canteen and other supporting amenities.
With design inspired by the concept of “infinity” to express a limitlessness, the master plan combines two courtyards and a focal point -- “Sina’s Eye” -- which serves as both a main vertical transportation hub and a symbol for the vision of Sina.
Construction of the project is expected to finish before the end of 2015.
