This association, with its unbalanced mass, represents the strong symbolism of the project.
The building, which forms a single volume, is divided into two fully independent units:
- To the east, a 4-storey office building for SNCF staff - To the west, a 5-storey residence for high-speed train conductors. The western unit's rooms and common areas are designed as a hotel, with carefully conceived acoustics.
