Following the success of the bench as a public seating installation in Dubai, the design is now being manufactured under the name, Ido, by French urban furniture firm Aubrilam, experts in equipping private and public outdoor spaces.

The Faculty of Architecture at the University of Manitoba has maintained a strong history that is geared towards more traditional ways of working with wood and processes of manual production. Accoya allowed for the weaving together of tradition and technological means of craft and had been chosen for its lightweight properties, material stability and ease of use.
