Text description provided by the architects. Built in the social neighborhood of «La Pierre Collinet» in Meaux, 50 km away from Paris the bowling pitch is located right between the city and the countryside. The project as been drawn by the impact of the limit, as it was involved or vanished.
The steel structure of the building is covered by corrugated iron and polycarbonate sheets which are splited in two horizontal parts, one that symbolize the sky with slight tones of clouds while the alternance of the colours of the bottom translates the variations of the landscape.
This two continuous overlayed ribbons slightly switch into a more inflected line to set the entrance of the bowling pitch.
Emphasizing the horizon line, the building seems to be blending in with the environment. The rounded angles and the verticals lines wear off the limits between the building and his surroundings.
